API Pond Stress Coat

API Pond Stress Coat is a water conditioner that replaces the natural slime coating on the skin of your pond fish when it has been damaged by handling, netting, or other forms of stress, and prevents the loss of internal fluids using electrolytes.

This product contains Aloe Vera to help heal torn fins and skin wounds, protecting damaged tissue against disease-causing organisms. It is an effective water conditioner that instantly removes chlorine as it conditions tap water, and should be used when setting up a pond, adding new fish, or changing pond water.

API Pond Stress Coat is safe for plants, fish, pets and wildlife.

How it works:

API Pond Stress Coat removes chlorine (a dechlorinator) and neutralizes chloramines and heavy metals making your pond water safe for fish. It also reduces stress in pond fish, and promotes the healing of wounds and regeneration of damaged tissue with Aloe Vera.

This product won't affect biological filtration or pH of a pond and can be used in conjuntion with other API products.

We stock API Stress Coat in three sizes:

• 473ml bottle will treat up to 7160L of pond water
• 946ml bottle will treat up to 14, 324L of pond water
• 1.89L bottle will treat up to 28,617L of pond water

Directions for use:
- If changing/adding water to the pond: add 120ml for every 1817L of water in the pond

- When introducing fish to the pond and to promote healing: double the dose, adding 240ml for every 1817L of pond water in the whole pond.

Store away from pets and children when not in use.
