API Pond Algaefix

API Pond Algaefix effectively controls green water algae blooms, string or hair algae (Cladophora), and blanketweed (Oedogonium) in ponds containing live plants and fish.

Registered with the EPA, this algae control is fast-acting, controls algae growth, controls the formation of new algae, and helps resolve algae problems in water gardens, ponds, and ornamental fountains containing live plants and fish. It is only suitable to use in synthetic-lined ponds and fountains, not for use in earthern-lined ponds (such as clay).

CAUTION: DO NOT use with freshwater crustaceans including shrimp, crabs, and lobsters.

IMPORTANT: Do not overdose. If dealing with additional pond issues, such as sludge, use the Algaefix on its own first until the algae is under control before using any other bacterial cleaner.

To ensure accurate dosing, determine pond volume before use:

L x W x Ave Depth (m) x 1000 = Litres

Dosages:
- 5 ml for each 190 litres of pond water
- 60ml for each 2271 litres of pond water

Thoroughly mix into pond water by adding near the pump outflow, waterfall, or aeration device. It can also be mixed in a bucket and dispersed evenly around the pond.

Repeat dose every 3 days until algae is controlled. Once algae growth is under control, add one dose per week. Weekly doses will control algae growth and reduce pond maintenance. Be prepared to siphon out dead algae.
